Archibald started his higher education by acquiring a Higher National Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Ho Technical University (Ghana).
He then gained a Bachelor of Information Technology from Ghana Technology University.
He currently holds a master’s degree in Project management from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana. This was in line with fulfilling a desire to handle IT projects appropriately and handle people management properly.
Archibald is a Unix and storage systems administrator with Eprocess International S.A. – A subsidiary and IT hub of the Ecobank group. He has deployed IT projects in many Ecobank Affiliates including Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Gabon.
He has worked as an applications engineer and handled the deployment of many IT applications. He is a middleware specialist having handled the deployment and management of WebSphere, Weblogic and Jboss in over 32 Affiliates. He also holds an Intermediate Certificate in ITIL.
In 2013, his team won the best IT project of the year and was awarded a plaque by the then CEO, Mr. Eddy Ogbogu. He has over 8 years working experience working with Ecobank with training in various fields including training on Omniflow Intelligence Business Processing suite by Newgensoft Technologies – New Delhi, India.
Aside from IT, Archibald is a transformational speaker who has handled topics on Leadership, career guidance, youth empowerment and relationships. He was instrumental in the formation of Foundation for Future Leaders (FFLI) international in Ho Technical University where he handled various topics including “From the lecture hall to the corporate world”, “ What to expect after I leave the four corners of school”, “Strategic leadership and business development workshop” and “Leading and Managing Change”.
Service and recognition
Archibald is a highly effective team player and leader. He was instrumental in the constitution and formation of the Students’ Representative Council of Ghana Technology University College (GTUC) in 2009/2010 as the organizer of a 4 member consultative assembly. He also sat on the panel to vet the first set of SRC executives. In 2010, Archibald was elected as Public Relations Officer of the SRC, after serving 3 consecutive years as a Class Representative. He represented the College at TV3’s Morning Ride during the 2010 SRC week Celebration.
Having graduated with a 1st Class honours, Archibald was adjudged the most promising Teaching Assistant. He was consequently recommended to Ecobank for employment. He has influenced and facilitated many more GTUC alumni to be employed.
Archibald is a Bible Class leader and Lay Preacher in the Methodist Church. Having risen through the ranks of the leadership of Methodist Youth Fellowship to the office of 1st Vice President at society and Treasurer at the Circuit levels, He now serves as the Society Youth Organizer for Mt. Sinai Methodist Church, Nii Boiman – Accra. He has been instrumental in the mentorship of many young people. A few of the topics he has handled include “Relationships – the Good, the Bad and the ugly”, “Before I do”, “Why I act the way I do” etc.
Archibald is also a music Director, Instrumentalist and Coach. This passion started at an early age. He was Music Director of Outreach Singers (Accra Academy 1999/2000), He was also President and Music director of Angelic Voices (Protestant Union – Ho Technical University, 2004/2005). He is currently the Music Director of Echoes of Sinai (Mt. Sinai Methodist Church).
Archibald is married to Cynthia Esenam Korley, a Fashion Designer and Teacher. He has three children, Alfred Nii Clottey Korley, Keziah Naa Kordei Korley and Marilyn Naa Klorkor Korley.
